AI Features — Complete Guide
FuriosaCRM integrates AI directly into the features you already use — campaigns, imports, approvals, and reporting. These features are powered by Furiosa Intelligence and are designed to save time, reduce errors, and help you make better marketing decisions. There is nothing to install or configure; AI features appear automatically in the relevant parts of the platform.
Overview
FuriosaCRM currently includes five AI-powered features, each designed to remove friction from a specific workflow:
- Smart Send-Time Optimization — Recommends the best day and time to send campaigns based on your historical engagement data.
- Email Subject Line A/B Suggestions — Generates four subject line variants with different persuasion angles so you can pick the strongest.
- CSV Import Field Mapper — Automatically maps CSV and Excel columns to FuriosaCRM fields during audience imports.
- Campaign Content Review — When a team member submits a campaign for manager approval, AI pre-screens the content and assigns a quality score.
- Campaign Performance Insights — Analyses completed campaign data and provides a letter grade (A–F), key insights, and actionable recommendations.
Smart Send-Time Optimization
Choosing when to send a campaign can make or break engagement. The Smart Send-Time feature analyses your account's past campaign data — including open rates, click rates, and hourly engagement distribution — to recommend the best day and hour for your next send.
How it works
- Navigate to the Review & Send step (Step 3) of any campaign — Email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
- Click the AI: Suggest Best Time button.
- The system queries your last 20 completed campaigns and their hourly open distribution (for email) to build a recommendation.
- You will see a suggested day, time, and confidence level. Click Apply to pre-fill the scheduler, or ignore the suggestion and set your own time.
Which channels support it?
Smart Send-Time works on all three campaign channels: Email, SMS, and WhatsApp. The button appears on Step 3 of each campaign wizard.
Email Subject Line A/B Suggestions
Writing subject lines is one of the most impactful parts of email marketing. This feature generates four subject line variants in one click, each using a different persuasion technique, so you can compare approaches and pick the one that fits your campaign best.
How it works
- Open the Email Campaign wizard and go to Step 1 (Campaign Details).
- Click the purple AI button next to the subject line input field.
- The AI reads your campaign name and any existing subject line text to understand the context.
- A dropdown appears with 4 variant suggestions, each labelled with its persuasion angle (e.g. Urgency, Curiosity, Social Proof, Scarcity).
- Click any suggestion to apply it to the subject line field. The dropdown closes automatically.
You can click the AI button again at any time to generate a fresh set of suggestions. Each generation produces unique variants based on your campaign context.
CSV Import Field Mapper
When importing contacts from CSV or Excel files, FuriosaCRM already attempts to match column headers to known fields (like Email, Phone, Name). The AI Field Mapper handles the columns the built-in detector misses — it reads your headers and a sample of the data to make intelligent mapping decisions.
How it works
- Start an audience import by uploading a CSV or Excel file.
- On the Preview step, you will see the standard column mapper with dropdowns for each column.
- Any columns that the built-in detector could not match are automatically sent to the AI for analysis.
- If the AI is confident (70% or higher) that a column maps to a specific field, it overrides the "Ignore" default and selects the correct mapping.
- AI-mapped columns are marked with a blue AI badge next to the dropdown, so you can see exactly which mappings were made by AI.
Campaign Content Review
If your account uses Campaign Approvals, the AI Content Review feature runs automatically whenever a restricted team member submits a campaign for approval. It analyses the campaign content and provides a summary for the approving manager.
What it checks
- Quality score (0–100) — an overall rating of the content quality.
- Verdict — one of three outcomes: Looks Good, Needs Review, or Concerns.
- Summary — a brief plain-English summary of what the AI found.
- Checklist items — specific things the reviewer should check (e.g. spelling, broken links, missing call-to-action).
Where to find it
The AI review appears on the Campaign Approvals page as an expandable row below each pending approval. The score is displayed as a colour-coded badge: green (80+), amber (50–79), or red (below 50). Click the row to expand and see the full review, summary, and checklist.
Campaign Performance Insights
After an email campaign has been sent, you can use the Performance Insights feature to get an AI-generated analysis of how the campaign performed. It compares your results against your historical averages and provides actionable recommendations.
How it works
- Open the report for any completed email campaign.
- Click the Analyse Campaign button.
- The AI receives your campaign statistics (opens, clicks, bounces, top links, hourly distribution) along with your historical averages.
- You will see a results panel with:
- A letter grade (A through F)
- A headline summary
- Detailed insights about what worked and what did not
- Recommendations for improving future campaigns
This feature is available on email campaign reports only. It works best when you have a body of historical campaigns for the AI to compare against.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do AI features cost extra?
No. All AI features are included on every plan, including the free plan.
Which AI model powers these features?
FuriosaCRM uses Furiosa Intelligence, our proprietary AI engine. Different features use different model sizes depending on the complexity of the task — faster models for simple tasks like field mapping, more powerful models for content analysis and performance insights.
Is my data used to train the AI?
No. Your campaign content and contact data are sent to the AI for analysis only and are not retained or used for training. All requests are made through Anthropic's commercial API, which has strict data-use policies.
What happens if the AI is unavailable?
All AI features are designed to degrade gracefully. If the AI service is temporarily unavailable, buttons will show a brief error message and the platform continues to work normally. No workflow is blocked by an AI failure.
Can I disable AI features?
AI features are opt-in — you only use them when you click the relevant buttons. There is no AI processing happening in the background unless you trigger it. If your account does not have AI enabled, the buttons simply will not appear.
